Our story
It started with one whoopie pie and a second chance.
When the owner of DKWP was 10 years old, he got caught taking a whoopie pie from a deli owned by Gerry Michaud, "Big G's." When Gerry asked why, the boy said, "To feed me and my sister." From that day forward, he and his sister had lunch at Big G's every day.
Almost forty years later, that kindness inspired "Boston" to create his own recipe, now filtering throughout the Midwest.
